Problem with Guitar Hero Drum Cymbal?

I would try switching the 2 cymbals to see if the problem switches too. I bought 3 brand new drum sets before i found one that worked right. the orange one was the faulty one everytime for me. But it sounds like yours worked fine until a week ago. maybe you can get a replacement from the company (if it turns out the cymbal is bad, and not the whole unit)
