Hi, I have an Yahoo id. A disgruntled employee uses a similar id and send wrong email to all. how to stop .?

A disgruntled employee uses a similar userid as my friend. He sends the email to all the known email id in my circle. Most abusive language is used and he tries to tarnish my image in my circle. Please let me know any solution available for this.
