How do you get rid of ticks in your home and on your puppy?

to remove them from you or cubby just take some lard ( i know gross!) and rub it on and around the tick wait about 20 minutes and rub the tick in a circular motion until it falls off, then take the tick and either flush down the toilet or take a match and burn the head of the tick.
