What do people think about the complete lack of punishment for women that make false allegations?

The only time I ever involved in a case like this, the woman was done for perverting the course of justice and wasting police time. Woman like the accuser of your friend make a mockery of the real victims. Seeking some kind of revenge by making these kind of allegations should result in her name plastered all over the papers and a term in jail.
